WTF?

My pretty little borage plant has just been eaten entirely, in one night, by some slimy trailed garden killer! It's a whole plant! How hungry can a slug be?

Poor borage. I feel as though I've murdered it:-(

I thought borage was indestructible. Tasty, but indestructible. It's too bad it didn't get big enough to reproduce.

I thought its hairy leaves protected it...I am glum. My thyme has also bought the big one. Weirdly, the valerian, with leaves that seem so much more tender, hasn't been touched.
