Tranquility

It is very early morning, and I feel more peaceful than I have in a while. My love brought me scarlet roses two days ago, and today is the first time I have really relaxed and enjoyed their presence. This afternoon was an intense combination of snowflakes and sunlight, so I should have guessed the evening would be beautiful. The snow has settled, the night is luminous and soft, and I would be ready to sleep, were it not for two particular traumas weighing heavily upon my soul.

1) My lemon tree is suffering in this temperature.

2) My mood icon scares the peach pits out of me.

*sigh* All that rage and pain. Man is born to suffer as the sparks fly upward...
