Better

Yesterday was a tough day for several reasons, but it ended very well, with a call from an expert on the area of my project. He pretty much nailed the mystery of the refugees for me, now what I need to do is contact the appropriate archivist, and I may well have one of those singular pieces of information that make everything else fall into place. There's got to be a word for that, but I can't recall it.

I sit here, little white cat making it impossible for me to see the screen because she wants me to stroke her.

Today, life is all right.

The project is interesting, though the Entling suspects I am smothering it in detail!

My take on these things is always to go for detail, especially at the beginning. Surely having all the answers is far more valuable than leaving gaps. It can always be stripped back at a later date.

I'm intrigued to hear more as it progresses.
