They've a long way to go, but they've made that first step. Admittedly it was Douglas Carswell, a man who presents himself credibly in any case. This should be a sign to both Tory and Labour that they are out of touch with the people, but neither will listen.

I just re-read the UKip manifesto. Pro hunting, pro coal, pro oil, pro gas, anti carbon dioxide reduction measures; not just Euro sceptics but climate change sceptics too. Maybe we can have back Victorian Britain with London pea-soupers; Jack the Ripper could return, but at least we'll know he's home grown and that makes all the difference. Morons.
