They're idiots.

I may have to leave the Green Party. It's not just NB's dire performances, or even some of the stranger characters on the forums. I must admit to being freaked out by the lack of security in the ballot/voting infrastructure, and some of the policies are so anti-money, it makes me feel as though I'm some cigar puffing capitalist for being a private landlord.

I don't think I am a materialist. In fact, having been called a 'left wing university trained progressive bleeding heart,' and a 'right wing shill,' in the same place, one would have thought I'd have found my natural home. I don't really 'get' money, but I appreciate that we don't pay for the NHS with sacks of wheat or sugar. The best things in life are free, it's trouble that's expensive.

The forums are the equivalent of putting one's head in a vice. Do I want to leave? I am giving myself a couple of days to think. Right now the answer is Yes, leaving me with the old choice of Labour, who are at least taking animal welfare policies seriously.
