The Unenchantment

smokingbootLeonard Nimoy gone, Terry Pratchett gone...the last few weeks have been a time of losing people who either made mythstory or were part of it. And what stories they were too! Tales where good and bad met, warred, played out and usually good won. They engaged us, they made us laugh and I guess they made us hope too, or at least think.
The only way to face the loss of stories that held us is to make our own. The only way to fight the unenchantment is to become enchanters.
Edited to add: Just as I repeated this on FB, I could almost hear Steve's voice saying, 'Don't you mean 'Disenchantment?' And I would say 'No. They are two different phenomenons entirely.'
