smokingboot[G] is responding well to the antibiotics. He is still in sleep, but apparently needs less help with oxygen. Ah, enjoy that sleep! There will be waking time soon, I hope, but only when you are rested enough.
There's a relief moving through my own body as well; this is the birthday of a friend of mine who just keeled over and died last year, a couple of weeks after we celebrated his birthday. It has been an odd unfortunate 12 months for friend losses. Strange to see his FB account still hanging on in there - bizarre. Here's to you, Steve, wherever you may be, I hope you are having an amazing time. Meanwhile, Gareth, no, not your turn yet, you stay here, you get well. Take your time and get well X
