Revving up

Before I was properly awake, today felt warm and balmy. I woke to find my senses had quite deceived me. Rain has come, and the plants are quivering in the cool of a much needed breeze. I need to go for a walk.

Yesterday was sweet. Birthday shopping began with new funky hipster jeans and ended with passport photos. Oh dear. I am used to not photographing well, but this is very unfortunate. To my astonishment, I have cheekbones. To my dismay, I see Slasherboot, east end widow, gangstaqueen, morticia clone. Do I really look like this? A fearsome creature am I!

Speaking of which, I need to work the holiday out. Aunt wants somewhere Caribbean and vaguely Latin, and as she's paying, that's fine with me. Cuba is the plan, but she has said that Mexico/Puerto Rico/St Lucia will do if I want, and I am tempted. Aunt wants this to be a two week jaunt. What's to do in Cuba for two weeks? Meheeeko might have more variety. I don't know and I have to make some decisions soon. OOOBM is hoping to hit Cuba by the end of the month and I'm hoping for feedback from him.
