Slow but not terrible. And there's much more to do, equally as tiring. Still up too early, still going to bed too early. I wonder why jet lag's so hard to get over on return to Blighty? M's cure was to insist on taking us down to the beach pretty much first thing off the plane. The sea and sun blows away the cobwebs, and then if you can stay awake until after 8.30 pm, you start getting into the rhythm of the place.

Of course, here you are immersed in cobwebs almost immediately. At least they're warm.
