Interesting Times

smokingbootNiece's first birthday party, friends round, a hideous Black Friday, a great weekend with mates... And a really weird headache that simply will not go away.
I'm having the most bizarre experiences. At the weekend I had a professional massage to try to deal with my stiff back and neck, but I couldn't relax; there was too much waiting for me to do. Still, I tried to drift off into a meditative state to the music, and then out of nowhere I could swear someone was calling my name repeatedly. I thought it was R downstairs, but reckoned he knew where I was if something was urgent. Afterwards I asked him. He said he hadn't called me and that the only regular repeating sound he could pinpoint was that of the grand prix he was watching on telly. But that wasn't what I heard at all.
This morning my kettle switched itself on. I heard the click then the whoosh of boiling water. No cat to blame, but the trigger was definitely pressed down. Very odd, and all a bit Woooooooo.
