Bad News Bad News
Aug. 31st, 2021 08:47 amSome of it pretty terrible affecting people I care for.
Some of it will, if it comes to pass, affect many people very badly including me.
Also, R is sick, blood test taken so we should soon have some information, but overall I am fighting severe discontent right now.
Yesterday, we were meant to go to Loch Lomond, but it felt like too much for R, so instead we went to New Lanark and the Falls of Clyde.
New Lanark's a perfectly preserved 19th century mill town, a world heritage site. Less fatigued we would have been very interested but instead we chose to walk to the falls and found ourselves refreshed by trees and babbling water all around. It was beautiful of course and something else too; the first spiralling of a few light leaves, just that touch of time passing headed by the dawn mists last week. Summer's done. This Autumn promises pretty.
I am finding it hard to finish this entry, which says plenty in itself.
Two dreams in the past week about being pregnant, almost ready to give birth. In one I was extremely hirsute; I think I was due to have a Caesarian. Last night's dream I was in hospital when friends turned up ready to have a pre-birthing picnic, but I had to go do something else very quickly. I looked up in the stars and saw two dogs faces outlined in the constellations, recognising them as R's parents dogs. Then the constellations changed into human faces. That's all I can remember.
No, I must give this up for today.
