Sauron the evil mole has been replaced by Aragorn the heroic scar. Specialist consultant chap was pretty damn sure that Sauron was one of the bad guys or going that way fast. Now they are going to check him out through a palantir, to make sure he hasn't made lymphatic inroads. More excision around the borders of Mordor may be necessary, but if it happens, it will be under gas induced general anaesthetic rather than eeeeevill hypodermics. Best of all, strange mole number 2 is completely harmless.

Larians has been a star, supporting me through what for most people is nothing, but for me is a major trauma.

Well, we don't know if it will be as cute as Aragorn, cos the stitches have to come out next week - but as it's my first line of defense against you-know-who, I'm going to pretend it is. Henna paint-on tattoos may be next.

Re Friday, well, a combination of me being deeply crap right now and the kittens being too young to be left alone for two nights probably puts the mockers on Friday - boo hiss, as we are both desperate to go bopping!
