Mandarino Di Amalfi by Tom Ford.
Jul. 12th, 2024 09:41 amCatching up with amazing mates today, so wearing my last unopened tester, Mandarino Di Amalfi by Tom Ford. This is a high summer scent, very Mediterranean along the lines of those traditional masculine-aimed eau de colognes that were basically comprised of a truckload of alcohol spritzed over citrus. The major note I'm getting is orange flower without being too sweet. It initially edged towards sherbet but that disappeared within a minute. One could certainly wear this in a hot office without it being oppressive. If R lets me I will test this on him later, because this will either disappear straight away or suit him very well. It's refreshing, classy and pleasant; whether it's £220 worth of refreshing, classy and pleasant I'm not sure. It is only 50 ml after all. Let's see how long it lasts.
Edited to Add: Possibly not long at all. Took my fragrant little wrist up to my husband, who wrinkled his nose and roared 'SMELL BAAAAAD!' Sorry Tom. You win some, you lose some.
