A moment's planting before the year gets too old for it.

Thyme and Winter Savoury gone in. We don't even use thyme that much. Old pussycat loves it better than catnip.

It will be some time yet before we have thyme in bloom over here!

A while yet before it's in flower here too. This is a bit of a cheat, a photo of my boy enjoying the flowering thyme a few years ago. We have a gardner who cut it right back off the path, whereupon it had a proper tantrum and died! So now I am replanting, but what I need is the creeping version cos it's the old fella's favourite.

Ahh, okay! Well I feel for you, and him! And the creeping version is wonderful, and I hope it spreads furiously and wonderfully. I have it in place of grass in a good portion of my front yard :-)
