Ooh, I could have done without that!

There was method in their madness. My occasional dysphagia freaks R out, and he has wanted me to try to get it sorted. So the first thing they wanted to do was check to see if my akin to acid reflux episodes had scarred or thickened my oesophagus.

Teeny camera shoved up the nose, down the back of the throat down into stomach is very uncomfortable, even with the strange banana tasting burning anaesthetic endlessly squirted into my nostrils. I was in a state of near shock with a very sore throat and mouth for the rest of the day. They pump air into your stomach, you know. I certainly did, and for a few hours after the procedure it can't have escaped anyone around me. Various body parts complained loudly. I tried to stay as far away from people as possible.

But there's nothing wrong so far. Couple of biopsies to check for bits and pieces, I'll have to wait a while for those results.

I have more tests to come and I may try to push those back a bit. More than one medical exam in a week is probably too much. My bod puts up with a lot, it deserves a rest.
