I did not meet my obligations, until disaster struck our project on Saturday; the leaflets that had to go out were printed with a wrong QR code; somehow we managed to stick new codes on to something like 6000 leaflets, proving the power of positive guillotine. Got some out yesterday, but I have more to take out today.Fortunately, Storm Isha seems be over herself.

Not that she didn't give it large last night; so ferocious was her temper that we brought in all the garden chairs seeing as she was perfectly capable of flinging them across the garden into the glass doors. She proved herself a proper fury, roaring and screaming as she flew around the roof, but refreshed me when she blew air through my bedroom window. Needed cooling, thanks Isha.

I was very hot, and not in a good way.

It wasn't like a menopausal flush or just ordinary skin on a warm day, it wasn't one of those things that makes your head clammy. My whole body just felt like it was burning up, and it stayed that way for ages. Dismayed, R exclaimed 'even your hands are hot!' It's the first time in my whole life that particular phenomenon has ever occurred. Weird. Made me think exactly what is the marker? Some kind of protein, yes? Is my body reacting to it? It's calmed down now, as has Storm Isha.

The light will be lifting soon, and then it's leaflet time. We managed quite a few before the weather made decisions for us. I am giving it most of the day, then I must deal with a lot of paperwork and emails. Gosh, even small things feel like a lot. But compared to how I felt four days ago, this is much more sunny. What is it about a storm that always makes one feel better?

Eta: nope, sick as anything. So weird! R has taken the day off, we'll get those leaflets out somehow.
