At first I thought it was a ferret; it might still have been one or a hybrid; it was exceptionally pretty, and chunkier than the ferrets I have seen in real life, with ears that stuck up more. For some reason it was in a bookshop. HH was there too, he might have owned the place. We tried to determine the sex of the creature from looking at its back end but neither of us knew enough to be sure. It didn't matter, the beastie came home with me. It was cheerful and well behaved.
