I know the holiday will put a smile on my face, I know the surgery is going to be good for me, I know I've done some good work. But still, this is another one of those B&W photos that shows how I feel.

Everything will be fine, I know though I am not there yet. Right now I am strange and cold, by turns sad/sombre/laughing at dumb things. This is laughable too; me in my Jazz phase! But I must always remember what it is to feel like this for months on end. The colour will return. For now I must respect this.
