I had to speak to the doctor this morning. In a couple of hours I have the pre op. Later this week I have the mammogram, and I assumed this would be the same one where they stick in the radar thingummy too. Then it's time for the op. Then there's the post op diagnosis, and then there's the bone scan; this latter department has sent me a long questionnaire including questions like 'How much cheese do you eat in a week?'

Now another appointment letter has just come through. It's with my surgeon for the day before the op, so presumably that's either when he's putting in the radar or putting in the radioactive dye to show up the lymph nodes. I have no clue, completely confused by all these procedures.

I know, I know, very fortunate to be in this position. My head knows, the rest of me thinks it's horrible.

Right. Here we go.
