The Hand of Fate

smokingbootR is sick again, worse than before. Last time I thought it was Covid and he didn't. This time he thinks it is Covid. It's unpleasant and come on very fast. What this means is that his little surprise for me - a couple of days on Great Cumbrae - must be dropped and picked up again some other time. I am disappointed but have decided to treat it as the hand of fate. Maybe we'd have been mauled by seals or something.
