Productivity vs Procrastination
Feb. 3rd, 2025 03:04 pmBetter, Ok.
Friday night was great, hanging out with friends.
Saturday night was great, hanging out with other friends.
Sunday I found myself dealing with an old difficult friend.
Today I dealt with some new difficult work.
In the balance, things are more positive than negative. I think I can stop now. There's only one more disagreeable duty, and it can wait.
Of course, I do keep saying that.

Date: 2025-02-04 11:32 am (UTC)I divide everything down into small tasks and greater, and I do the small first, with a break in between each one. Then I take a big break before starting the big task, with added breaks if I feel myself flagging throughout. Sometimes, with a deadline looming, I apply tunnel vision and just keep going.
But I have no consistent strategy!
