Better, Ok.

Friday night was great, hanging out with friends.

Saturday night was great, hanging out with other friends.

Sunday I found myself dealing with an old difficult friend.

Today I dealt with some new difficult work.

In the balance, things are more positive than negative. I think I can stop now. There's only one more disagreeable duty, and it can wait.

Of course, I do keep saying that.

I have been thinking about this a lot, working with both my therapist and my coach to attack the issue and think I am making progress. Interestingly, the first thing that helped was an approach called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acceptance_and_commitment_therapy) which takes the stance that procrastination is part of me, and there are powerful good things it does for me. The thoughts are distilling, so I'll write something longer at some point, but initially it does seem to be helping.

Obviously we're all on our own journeys, and what works for me may well not work for you. But I thought I should flag some baby steps forward.
