smokingbootGot up to see brilliant sunshine all over the landing and walls. Looking out the little east facing window, phenomenal gold light suffusing the landscape. There was rain and lots of it, but the light held that too, everything shining gold. Felt like one of the first mornings of the world.
My mind is troubled, dreams showing me with my hair new cut, which I tend to translate as change. Ralik cat is now extremely old, pacing and yowling, staring confused at walls and such. He's enjoying his food and cuddles, and his quality of life is still good - I think - plus he's had these symptoms for ages, but there's been a distinct increase in them over the past couple of weeks. Our boy is deep in Winter. All we can do is love him as much as possible and make sure he's more happy than distressed until that's no longer the case.
The light has dimmed out of the sky somewhat, and we are back to everyday grey rain. But a moment is a moment.
