RIP Alex Armstrong

smokingbootWoke at 00:01 knowing that Alex had died. This was no surprise, given that he was on dialysis, and had suffered a major stroke. We had been warned it was not looking good.
I did not know Alex well, he was a bluff hearty man, somewhat choleric at times.I knew him through LARPing, but we kept in touch via FB. Ours was not a deep friendship but a cordial one.
Here's to you, Alex, may you find the great adventure/forever rest, whichever suits you best. X
