Things happening

The grooness is beginning to depart.

The strange skeletal warrior thing in my pumpkin tray is an emerging pumpkin seedling. It has a friend on the other side of the tray. Though they are still small, they have a sinister fleshiness to them...at present they really do look like tiny thickening tendrils coming out of the earth. They're alive all right.

Scotland is happening. I am looking forward to seeing the huge pictish stone November Girl spoke of, and exploring more of the highlands. Fort William, Loch Ness, Glen Coe...I would love to see Skye, but I guess at 50 miles away, I may be imposing too much on the drivers in our group!

Cuba is happening, probably in September.
Venice is happening, everything booked for October. God, I am going to need more money.

Stabface is happening on the same weekend as we go to see Starsky and Hutch, a cool combination of idiotic ways to spend our time. I think it's ridiculous that everyone claims S&H are being played by Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, when it's clear we're watching the acting debuts of Derek Zoolander and Hansel (he's so hot right now!)

Maelstrom is happening. I am beginning to look forward to this. Hope most excellent chum's worries have been solved, but I'm trying to get beyond that and think about the game. I have a character concept which I like, though god knows what will happen when she impacts reality.

The Wolf Event is happening, the Lions event is happening, the gerbils looks as though they are happening, and most of all, my writing is happening.

The thing that is not happening, is coffee. Time to do something about that.
