thom_ring and caddyman, and responses to them, it's amazing to see how many people write, create, compose. And interesting to see how people doubt. It should make me feel better about my own doubts, and it does - for about half an hour. Then I am not sure anymore.
But to anyone who randomly passes this way, anyone who feels that gutting shyness, that reluctance, that fear of trying it, making something, writing anything, creating anything, here are the words of the Boot, and they are almost wise. Don't get tangled in issues of whether you can, or whether you should or who's going to judge, whether you are being arrogant for wanting to, or whether your suspicion that you have the ability makes you egotistic. Try to imagine me being played by Ben Stiller. See the big sideburns and green suit? Deep voice now:
'Dooo it. Just dooo it. Dooo it.'
