The Vanishing Tattoo

For various reasons I've been doing a lot of research into tattoos, their history, symbolism and of course, how pretty/painful they are. You may wonder why I have not linked to the home page, which is of course, the best place to begin: But for some reason, having neatly bypassed the interesting buttocks at the top (worksafe I think), I was reading about the deep spiritual beliefs of the Samoans half way down the page when something made me just stop, freeze and click.
