ephraim graced our portals for an evening, my work has given me more shifts and my mother has sent me a postcard marked 'URGENT' (how does that work?) telling me to empty her flat and give it back to the Housing Association, cos she wants to stay in Spain permanently. The house-emptying in itself is a massive hassle and nuisance, but she only talks like this when she is very happy and that is a great relief to know.
Tomorrow I begin thinking again.
