We've officially moved.

It's been intense, cleaning, painting, decorating, and generally moving out...we couldn't have done it without the superior DIY powers of dr_sneaky, glorious Jan sans lj who tarted up the kitchen so beautifully, and of course littlemiscowboy and her partner the lovely Bruce Sans LJ, who not only helped us spangle up our old house but helped us pack, move out and then move in to the London place, with a looong trip by lorry in between. littlemiscowboy drove a godzillatruck with the ease of steering a tricycle. She is now officially ActionChick, cos it's clear she can do anything, anytime, anywhere, at all. The awesomeness of our friends is incomparable. Thank you all.

The London house is full of boxes and bin bags, the Manchester House is fresh and new, painted and scrubbed up, so much so that I regret leaving.

larians is surprised that I am not ecstatic about returning to London, and of course, I get to catch up with old friends(the big time benefit!) writing and working will get easier, and larians' career will not depend quite so heavily on Virgin Pendolino. But for all the problems of living oop narth, our little home gave us fun and happiness, summer parties, warm candlelit crimbos, great times with great friends and of course, for me, The Spider's Bride.

I am glad we haven't put the house on the market. larians laughs and calls me a hoarder when it comes to old cards and jimcrackgewgaws; he doesn't have a word for someone who hoards houses.
