Once In A Blue Moon...
Sep. 6th, 2010 08:52 amWell, here it is. Lordy.
See, this summer I was in a pub with some pagany/witchy friends, and mentioned, about 4 cups in, that we should celebrate magic sometime, maybe do an event. I say these things, they're just like steam train whistles going off in my head, that's all. I don't mean anything by them. Why does anyone listen to me?
Then one friend came back to me weeks later and told me there was going to be no Halloween Bash at Conway Hall for the city's pagany/witchy types, and did I feel like trying to get this event up and running? I kinda shrugged and said yes, always with this sense I have that nothing will really happen. I contacted the mighty
jfs who very kindly gave me details of possible venues known to him. I passed on this list to said friend, who has money and therefore would have to back the thing if it was ever going to occur. We wandered, we found a venue, they said yes. I asked magical chums if they would like to do workshops there. They said yes.
Somehow it is happening. Would you like to come?
