Deptford Jack In The Green

Well I braved the uncharted wastes of Deptford to find it, and there it was, a big walking pile of shrubbery outside the Dog and Bell, with loads of happy people drinking pints around it. The afternoon was very pleasant, though I decamped at Greenwich because I was too near home to resist, and the day was wet, so wet that my boots were destroyed. There's still a sock trapped in one, I don't know how to get it out.

When I took those boots off, my feet smelled like my aquarium. Happy Mayday!
