Daze

Yesterday did not go entirely to plan. Went shopping, slipped in a muddy field, landed flat on my back and hit my head very hard. I felt very ill by the end of the day, and had terrible dreams about being given a knife with which to sacrifice an old work colleague because he didn't have enough 'stars'. This was apparently information from 'The Third' something or other. I refused, dropping the knife.

This morning my head is fine, however the house is in havoc. We're having a new fuel burner put in; alas the wind is too strong for the guys to go up on the roof. The result is that I have cancelled my appointment for tomorrow, so the house can be full of people doing stuff.

What I can do is daub up the alcove where the burner's going to go. So once they've gone this afternoon, I'll rush off and buy some paint... and try not to get so keen I almost concuss myself in enthusiasm.
