The Jelly Dalek

I didn't get much done yesterday, but at least the jelly dalek appears to have set. Being part vodka, I greatly doubt its ability to stand up - it probably has more chance of surviving if I just slide it onto its back on a plate,and surround it with whipped cream and smarties. I'll buy the cake.

Sunday will be a great relief. Back to proper research Monday morning.

Storm Doris

It's just the wind, but I love it; the noise it makes and the movement of the trees, occasionally interspersed with bins clattering down the road. The sky is white and grey, but there's sharp bright blue behind the clouds, and everything feels fresh in the world.

It really does sound as though strange air-borne spirits are singing all around the house. I want more, not less of it.
