A dream of Dad

Nice one too.

I was in a hospital to be checked up for something. For no readily explicable reason I had brought a vacuum cleaner with me and was carrying it around. Someone told me to get rid of it in case it was bringing infection into the hospital, and I was feeling somewhat indignant about this. I walked round a corner/ward curtain and there was Dad, looking less old than I remember. Maybe he's working backward in the eternal. I was delighted to see him, he looked very happy, I gave him a big hug and called him 'Daddy' which was not an epithet I used after early childhood. He said he wanted to ask a favour of me, and then I was woken by one of the cats jumping on my head.

Maybe this was brought on by watching 'The Blacklist' last night. But it was a pretty heartening dream, whatever brought it on.
