The bubble
Jun. 19th, 2018 02:03 pmAll rather nice. The meal had to be ballast of course, because however hard they try to pair food and drink, champagne's not a dining wine. Comparing various Mumms and Perrier-Jouets, blanc de blancs, rose wines, cordon somethings, for sure had a thoroughly pleasant time.
But that's not the real world.
The real world is this: https://www.facebook.com/OccupyDemocrats/videos/2135332523226457/?hc_ref=ARRo6ctPwQvAa0E4LnUS6zX1MYTmOckRABgFXwJYlYDgPZSBl2iAfk3Q34e8VcvkTps
FFS. No good can be at the source of this and no good can come of it.
In fact, what does do good? How does one help?
Champagne and movies and festivals; behind them all this knowledge that something is very wrong, and I have not got the faintest idea of how to improve any of it. All I can imagine is putting some cash towards charities working to get the kids and parents back together/ stop the separation in the first place.
