Remembering Late

So much was happening, I was exhausted at the beginning of this month. This must be why I forgot the day of Dad's death. Yesterday I hadn't remembered either, just a peculiar forlorness and for no good reason turning to Dad's still active FB, and then I looked at the date on my PC. Today is the anniversary of his funeral.

There is a kind of poetic sense to forgetting Dad's death day because of moving to his country.

I will lift a glass to him at Halloween, and to other ancestors recently discovered.

And just roll through this odd feeling I have today.
