I just need to make a mental note to not even want to do it.

Manners dictate that one cannot reach across and straighten someone's nose ring.

The problem with septum piercing (says she, knowing nothing about it) is that horseshoe rings seem to crook to one side or another, always looking as though the tiniest tweek would straighten everything, but one still mustn't do it. Quite apart from the invasion of personal space, it could be a nostril quirk or fashion statement.

I don't know why I notice this more than say uneven eyebrows. My own eyebrows are uneven, everyone's a bit lopsided in some way or other. Sometimes it's deliberate, why not? I've never given a damn regarding symmetry, never straightened a tie in my life, it's not even about piercings or jewellery generally. It's specifically horseshoe nose rings.

Anyway, after seeing the chum who prompted these thoughts, I caught up with the others and we had our meeting. The work load is now at once less and more, and I can do it, but I have to take pace seriously. Everyone thinks I'm 'back' and I so want to be. But the truth is I run out of steam pitifully fast, and can't focus clearly more than a couple of months away. Long term planning is hard for me at the best of times, now it's really difficult. I was out from around 9 yesterday morning to past 4, came home, did some stuff then fell asleep, early but not early enough. Now I am fine but very tired, this third coffee is making no difference. I will not go out unless I have to. I may just live on sandwiches today.

And R will be home. Which will be wonderful
