Wiccans celebrate the first joining of Goddess and God at this time, some purists say tonight with its wonderful witchy associations, others just go for the Maypole/fire festival thing tomorrow. Alas,falco_biarmicus! dates have given us nothing but nonsense this year! Let us try to get together for Midsummer if possible!
And then there is the legend that the Sidhe came to Ireland on the first monday in May; that's tomorrow, so it's a good time to frolic in the woods with your favourite fairy and forget Winter that stayed too long, and Spring that couldn't make up its mind.
