Priest of Pan, Master of the Egyptian Mysteries, magnificent, generous friend has died.

He died on the 3rd March, during the eclipse.

Love him faithfully, mother, father, source of all life, for he was the boy who made the masks and the statues and the staffs, researched and created ceremonies; in him was no malice, only wisdom and laughter.

I weep for myself, selfish silly tears; for my friend is well, very well, I know.

Goodbye Rick. Thank you for everything.

Could manage to pass over during an eclipse, and such a magickal Eclipse as well. Class to the last!

And you're right, a great loss to his friends, and to the pagan scene in general.

Do you know anything about the funeral arrangements?

He was indeed, total class - I think he will really appreciate you doing something at Ravenwing!

Funeral arrangements as we know them are; Friday 23rd April, 1.15 somewhere in the countryside near Colchester! Let us invoke the gods for more precise instructions nearer the day:-) I will put them here as soon as I know them. A minibus is planned to take the carless of London on to the place itself. See you then, if not before xxx

I've just hear from Andy T that Rick died recently and was so shocked. I didn't even know he was ill. Although I've been out of touch for a couple of years, I went on a lovely holiday with him several years ago with Carolione Wise, Steve Wilson, me and my then boyf Guy Milly I remember him as one of the most energetic people I've ever met. Full of energy, ideas, enthusiasm and spark. He'd be up til 4 in the morning clubbing and the first person to sit smugly sober around the pool at dawn while we all slunk, boozy-eyed out of bed in the morning! However he made a point of frightening us all with his hairy -scary adventurous 'all'round little mounntain paths' driving. Nutter!
I'm sure I have some pics of him somwhere if anyone's putting together a retrospective. I also have some Cretan potery artifacts that he would chuckle about as he told me to not take them through customs and I did. Bravo Rick! Ever the anarchist! Love you to bits! You will be so sorely missed but so NOT forgotten!

Rick was very important in so many people's lives and it would be fitting that we all payed homage to his life (death). If Cleo or Alan are arranging anything, please let me know. Andy has given me their address and I'm sending them a card etc, but I think something more would be more fitting for Rick. Keep me posted on Rick. My heart goes out to to Cleo and Alan. Kitty xxx

I shall certainly let you know the details as soon as I have any. Not that we are doing so badly up to now: We have a day, March 23rd friday, we have a time, 1.15, and we may even have a mini-bus picking up the hapless pagan pedestrians of London. What we don't have are details of the venue, but as soon as I know, I will pass it on to you.

I had forgotten his powers of terrifying vroomvroom!
