Maybe it is just me being paranoid thinking that was for me(re: the previous post)...but I have utmost respect for you. I just thought it was supposed to be funny about the cow eating the garland and...um. You get the picture?

Good heavens! Your delicacy of feeling is loving, but you worry too much. I thought your comment about the cow was funny and charming! And I have never had any sense of disrespect from you at all :-) No, this entry is for Armistice Day, my icon displaying a poppy.

What can I say...it comes from the past experiences in groups. I say something innocent like 'Look! there is chocolate milk on the table' and next thing you know, you have offended someone, and you are smack in the middle of a flame war. LOL.

We stumbled downstairs into screwydriver's lounge this morning to find it full of people yet absolutely silent. For a split second I thought it was down to the awful hangovers that we all had, then I noticed the telly so sat down quietly. I've never watched the tv coverage before, and found it quite moving - right until ephraim piped up (after the guns had fired) to suggest that the Queen would be far cooler if she was followed around by a giant robot.
