One of the worst days of my life

= 23rd May just gone. Terrible news, not my secret to tell. Would love to get drunk as a skunk but fear vine-induced loquacity, so if anyone knows of a method that can take me straight to Nirvana without making me talkative or killing me, just let me know.

I'll be all right later. Maybe I just need to write something.

How about writing a story featuring a fictional "you" dealing with the problem - whether it be heroically or just falling apart? It might be therapeutic.

Or call someone like the Samaritans and blab to them, as I guess it wouldn't matter if you told someone completely unconnected.

I know I've been shit at keeping in touch recently, but please let me know if there's anything I can do. There's a spare room (and a surprisingly good festival with lots of interesting and folky/hippy people) here this weekend if running away might help.

I would so love the festival, and running away to the spare room sounds like a magical touch! But I am broke and working this weekend. Exhaustion is beginning to wipe me out.

Sleeping is a shortened version of what I need. A period of leave would be a good thing, even though that time itself would be full of household stuff requiring attention. Curse that stupid holiday! It left me irritated, exhausted, and so broke I can't take time off work!

Ah well. At least work requires too much concentration for me to focus on this.
