Help!

Anybody got black and/or pink fairy wings they could get to me this week (before Friday's ball?) For I am in deep doodoo re costume and for once it really isn't my fault:-( The bigger the wings the better for they have to hide a slight ladder in the back of my outfit. Not that kind of ladder, the ones you get in stockings. Oh, and if anyone knows how to stop a ladder from laddering further, I would love to know.

Any help will win you a fairy wish and possibly a pint/cake.

God, even fun is hassle right now!

Shame cos it's very much the sort of thing I associate with you! It's a midsummer night ball on Friday night down in Salisbury, advertised on so many ljs I thought we must all be going.

Ah, well I work an evening shift on Friday nights anyway. Then my mum has an appointment to get her hearing aid at noon on midsummer's day. It is a real bugger, cos I wanted to do something special seeing as midsummer falls on a weekend. But mum has waited 2 years for a hearing aid and I had to really fight to get any appoinment for her.

I didn't know about the party, but I couldn't have gone anyway.

My mum and I are fine. Mum's hearing aid will be ready for her to pick up in a few weeks - which is good news.
