Predictions from a friend followed by me finding myself in a city I thought was Granada, only a rough part of it I had never seen before. There was a badly lit path to a bright mall. I didn't take it. Instead, I walked through a street that went downhill, cement on the road torn up and cracked. Three harsh looking dogs and some scruffy people, dogs not letting me through. I turned back.

Found myself on a prettier road, saw a house and garden, a woman's head poking out over the top of the flowers. It seemed to be my mother, younger with lighter eyes and hair dyed blonde but definitely her, though she did not recognise me. I called to her by her name, and she looked puzzled. When I asked her if that was her name, she smiled and told me yes, it could be, but the way I was pronouncing it was very old fashioned, and she taught me the modern way of saying her name; 'Yzago' or something.

When I looked at the houses beyond us they were all very boring, simple white concrete shapes looking a bit battered. I asked what happened to the old houses and she said, 'The wind blew everything away.'

I find dreams with people I know looking strangely different to be quite disturbing, I dreamed about seeing my (troubled) brother looking like a rough sleeper in the high street near my house, and I was pleading for him to come home with me but when I had gone to get the car he'd disappeared.

I am no dream expert but after the devastating events to your family recently, and the shaking of some of the boundaries maybe the wind has blown away some bad things even if the "new houses" look a little plain and battered.

I don't usually see people changed, though increasingly I have dreams in which I'm going to meet my mother. This is the first one where she looked so different - it left me in a kind of panic, as though she may die now, only to be born in futureworld sometime.

I like your interpretation a lot better!

So a three headed dog wouldn't let you any further down the hill ?
Take your lyre with you next time ?

(hugs)

Your mother I cannot comment on. I don't know who she is any mroe than she does.
