I am not convinced Facetime is such a great idea. It means that however bad I feel, I have to haul myself out of bed, put proper clothes on, at the very least wash my face, and try to be presentable in case someone tries to contact me. Also this phone screen makes me look like a big chin in a short wig.

Get a lovely photo of yourself printed out, attach with wire and rubber bands to your phone far enough away that the camera can focus on it. If anyone questions you, claim that FaceTime is buffering.
