This was my present to larians for his 40th earlier this year. For a while it looked pretty touch and go; he had a really unpleasant chest infection, in need of anti-bi's etc, and we decided to abandon our trip up on the Thursday night, preferring another night in a real bed between four walls. Then we got there, and one great thing I learned was how much I like nice tattoos. They were everywhere...I could have spent the whole event photographing them...but then there was all this sunshine and cider and great company. And music,really interesting music, of which I now make lists in an attempt not to forget.

The total moment: Dog fight in the sky, Fockers and Sopwiths. Bruce Dickinson was up there. Apparently Eddie was his rear gunner.

Now we are home, and larians is very much better. I, on the other hand, am now as ill as anything. But still, pretty damn happy.

I actually cannot recall Gary Numan at all, although I am informed that we watched him!

Anti Flag were brilliant, but I would have put a few of your "Hot" list firmly on my "Not" list. It's the differences that make us interesting. :-)

I think you know much more about this music genre than I do! I recall dancing to GN and enjoying it, but can I remember anything other than the hits? No!

I found this about a lot of stuff. It was great to hear in the open air, but how many actual tunes do I remember, and which ones would I download and listen to in my front room? Not so clear...
