smokingbootI have been asked to speak at a pagan event.
I don't quite want to, but feel the obligation because this lady asked me before and I deferred her to this occasion. She is being very pleasant and putting no pressure on me - which conversely makes me feel that I should honour my almost promise.
There's a subject right enough, but I am beginning to suspect that when it comes to such matters, no-one can be told or taught anything. We find out for ourselves. My reluctance isn't based on PTSD or anything like that...I think all that stuff is done. I am never going to be scared of an audience, but the sparkly bit that loves to show off isn't particularly active. Guess I should do it just to prove to myself that I can, and to honour what I said I would do...and I might enjoy it after all. Old Skool Boot and all that.
