Things to do

Between forthcoming trips to Spain and Venice, plus saving for the wedding, I find myself in the frustrating situation of not being able to attend the Green Party conference. They'll do their best to help if you ask, bless them - there appears to be a pot of member donations to help people who can't afford to get there - but I can't square applying for this kind of thing while getting ready to fly to other places for good times. There's also a weekend workshop on hoodoo in Camden Town. I've always been very interested in hoodoo - roots and oils and all that jazz - but at £200 for the weekend, I can't justify it. That's for believers I guess, not curio hunters/researchers. It may not be appropriate to lump political conferences and hoodoo workshops together, but that's where they lie in my head; too late to change it now.
I need more music too, and more museum/gallery visits. As my beau is having a stag, to be organised by the mighty Bruce, I should have some equivalent, and my immediate thought was a museum sleepover...but it turns out they're all for kids! What's wrong with these people? Where's their pity for people who never grew up?
Hen parties anyway, I dunno. All that Essex stuff, drunk boobnhighheel combos with tinsel and deelyboppers; it just makes me cringe. Except for deelyboppers, of course. They're awesome. We should wear them all the time.
