This is silly.
It's not as if I knew him, or even that I stayed connected to his books...there are still plenty of them I haven't read yet.
But I remember the Colour of Magic, fresh and funny. It's like a part of one's past, small but you notice when it's gone.
Wish things were different for you Terry.
And hope you are in eternal sunshine somewhere, laughing the way you made so many laugh.

I'm really sad too, I only met him once, at a book signing. I think there's a way we know people through their writing though, which is definitely a particular and important relationship.

I think you must be right - what else explains so much feeling? I am hiding from FB for a while, photos and tributes are everywhere. He deserved it all, but I can't handle my constant weepy fits.
