I do get that folk need to feel special, that whole Harry Potter chosen one thing...it's human, I've experienced it myself, so perhaps I should be more patient when a friend posts a link on FB to some terrible online magazine thing, the sort of stuff that's always called Realtruth.TV or Newstheywonttellyou.com. She's not believing, just asking what other people believe. The story? Well apparently if you are rhesus negative, you may be related to the Nephilim. There are other signs - red hair, extra vertebrae, being impossible to clone, I kid you not.Because I am just a goddamn fool I pointed out that our only information (if you can call it that) about the physicality of the Nephilim is their great size and ferocity. Now, I am getting notifications every time some special snowflake joyfully announces their blood type on the thread.

I'm special too. I have spent the entire day on a diet of white bread, rice krispies and instant noodles,and now watch the skies trying not to fart at passing spaceships. If that's Karl McCoy at the door, tell him I'm out.

If you go to the FB post in the top right corner there's an option to turn off notifications which will stop you receiving any more replies. Comes in very useful
