The little male agouti has been staring at me with a most reproachful expression for about ten minutes. Then he turned around and showed me his haunches. For a moment it seemed he was trying to tell me his name was Arse, but then he whisked his tail and I remembered the name we gave him ages ago, courtesy of his distinctive appendage.
